We here by inform you of the processing of your personal data by the University of Bremen.

The legal basis for data processing in the context of personnel development is Art. 6 para. 3 in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 letter e GDPR in conjunction with. § Section 12 BremDSGVOAG, Section 85 (1) BremBG.
The University of Bremen collects and processes personal data in order for various offers and services to be provided. The university is a corporation under public law and is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Bremen Implementation Act.

2. Purpose of data processing

Your data will be used exclusively for controlling the annual appraisals.

 

3. Legal basis of data processing

The legal basis is your consent according to Article 6, Paragraph 1 a) GDPR.

 

4. Storage period

We process your data until the corresponding evaluation of the data records received for the year has been completed or you request deletion by sending a message (informally to ref07protect me ?!uni-bremenprotect me ?!.de). Upon receipt, your stored data will be deleted immediately, provided that there are no statutory retention periods preventing deletion.

 

5. Personal data processed in the feedback from annual appraisals

  • First name (Obligatory)
  • Surname (Obligatory)
  • Email address (Obligatory)
  • Number of Employees (Obligatory)
  • Number of annual appraisals conducted (Obligatory)
  • Number of annual appraisals not conducted
  • Reasons why annual appraisals could not take place
    • Employee is long-term sick leave
    • Supervisor is less than 6 months in the organisation unit
    • Conducting the annual appraisal rejected by the employee
    • Other reasons

 

6. Recipient of personal data

The Personnel Development Department (see address above) receives the data submitted via the online form and processes it as follows:

Your contact details are only accessible to the Personnel Development Department. They are used exclusively for controlling the annual appraisals.


7. Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data (in accordance with Articles 15 to 21 GDPR):

  • Right of access
  • Right to rectification

  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability / Right to receipt of a copy

Additionally, you also have the right to object to data processing at any time. We will then no longer process your data unless there are direct legitimate grounds for processing or processing serves the purpose of enforcement, exertion or defense of legal claims.

 

8. Lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority
