Johanna hat an der Universität Potsdam Computerlinguistik studiert und ein Masterstudium in Fremdsprachenlinguistik abgeschlossen. Ihre Forschungsinteressen liegen bei der Verarbeitung natürlicher Sprache (NLP) und Mensch-Roboter-Interaktion.

Derzeit forscht sie zu Methoden der Extrahierung semantischer Frames im Kontext von Parallelkorpora.
