Cluster meeting on the hydrogen project hyBit in Bremen

On February 22, 2023, a cluster meeting was held at the University of Bremen, gathering about 20 participants of the large-scale hydrogen research project "hyBit - Hydrogen for Bremen's Industrial Transformation". The project is concerned with hydrogen centers in northern Germany, with the goal of establishing and researching a hydrogen hub at Bremen's industrial port.

The working group "Innovation and Structural Economics", represented by Dr. Jessica Birkholz, Philip Kerner and Prof. Dr. Björn Jindra, focuses in the project on statistical analyses of technology development paths, narratives and economic uncertainties associated with hydrogen technology.

Among the participants of the cluster meeting were members of the artec Sustainability Research Center and the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research. In addition to the members of the University of Bremen, there were also representatives of the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy, the Hamburg Institute of International Economics, and the University of Münster. The event served to exchange information on the current status of the research work in the project and to plan the further course of action.

We sincerely thank all participants for their valuable contributions and look forward to further collaboration!
