  • 1982–1988 Studied ethnology (major), sociology and Austronesian studies, Indonesian literature and language (minors) at the University of Hamburg.
  • The evaluation focuses on culture and foreign cultural policy, education and interculturalism, as well as development cooperation and humanitarian aid.
  • The methodological approach is based on qualitative empirical social research methods. Other areas of focus include programme and project evaluations, scientific monitoring and consulting for processes, as well as formative and participatory evaluations.
