Digital Student Life Cycle (DSLC)

The University of Bremen is implementing a digital Campus Management System which can react to the current and future demands of student administration.

Accessibility in E-learning and Teaching (BALLON)

The University of Bremen launched the BALLON project – "Accessible E-Learning and Teaching" – in January 2021 to promote a learning environment that is as accessible as possible to everyone during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The BALLON team advises teaching staff in particular on creating fully accessible course material and websites, makes helpful checklists and tool kits available, and provides information on fully accessible teaching and learning and the legal requirements.

Information Security Management System (ISMS)

An Information Security Management System is nowadays essential for universities as providers and users of IT infrastructures in order to identify threats and weak points at an early stage, avert risks, and prevent damage.

The project will initiate the setting up of an Information Security Management System at the University of Bremen according to (C)ISIS 12. The aim is to be certified according to (C)ISIS 12 by the end of 2023.
