where astronautics research and industry form a renown high-tech cluster.
Space Sciences and Technologies (Space-ST), M.Sc.
Bremen is one of the outstanding locations in the European aerospace industry. In Bremen, space technologies and space applications form a unique, internationally renown cluster of technology, research and development. This creates excellent new job opportunities for natural scientists and engineers. The application oriented master’s program in Space Sciences and Technologies (Space-ST) provides expert knowledge in the three main data handling technologies:
- Sensing
- Processing
- Communication
The program offers a choice of two areas of focus: Physics for Space Observation or Information Technologies for Space.
Lectures, example classes as well as the interdisciplinary laboratory practical with experiments from the three subject areas offer the possibility to deepen the learned theories and methods with practical examples and prepare the students for their daily work in the best possible way. Students acquire excellent career opportunities in space agencies, space industry and research institutes. The international master’s program at the University of Bremen is taught entirely in English.
