Spezifikationen des Geräts

  • Technische Aspkete

Integration Sphere system 'K SPHERE-Petite' from Horiba which has a diameter of 81 mm that fallicate the automatic measurment of the Photoluminescence Quantum Yield in dependence of the wavelength (within the wavelength range of 320 – 950 nm). This is important for samples with different radiation characteristic at room temperature (295 K). The Fluorolog system the Integration Sphere is integrated to includes two double monochomators and a tunable excitation source. This creates the opportunity to analyse the various types of defects of the samples and derivates the specific impact of a defect on the desired functionality (optical output, current switching, etc.). Through the tunable excitation source, the internal quantum efficiency related to possible quantum well emmisions as well as the external quantum efficiency an be measured.

  • In-situ-Möglichkeiten
Sample Stages, Exitation Wavelength Dependencies, room temperature and higher temperatures.
  • Korrelierter Arbeitsablauf
Photoluminessence and Photoluminessence Exitation measurements (Fluorolog), Ellipsometry, Electron microscopy, X-Ray Defraction, various surface analysis methods, etc.
  • Weitere Untersuchungsmöglichkeiten
Depending on the outcome of the measurements with the Fluorolog and Integration Sphere, there is always the possibility to transition towards other spectroscopic equipment of the RG Callsen based on a collaboration.
