With this workshop, we aim to connect people who use, manage, and coordinate materials science-oriented Core Facilities in European institutions.

Together, we would like to discuss and exchange ideas about:

• Scientific advances enabled by Core Facilities
• Roles and governance structures of Core Facilities
• Methods and software for managing facilities
• Data management in Core Facilities, e.g. common data formats or ontologies
• Public outreach
• Collaboration between Core Facilities, opportunities and funding programmes

The event will take place in the “Haus der Wissenschaft” (House of Science) in the center of Bremen.
