Sok Tiang ("Chloe") Tai, LL.M.

Sok Tiang (“Chloe”) Taiis a patent engineer specializing in chemical and pharmaceutical patent law, covering all stages from drafting and prosecution to litigation and infringement matters. Her expertise spans the full patent law spectrum with a focus on chemical and pharma cases.

She earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Industrial Chemistry from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2003 and began her patent law career at a Malaysian IP firm. She completed an LL.M. in Intellectual Property at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) in 2008, followed by an LL.B. from King’s College London in 2012. After passing the Bar Professional Training Course, she was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2013 and joined BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in the same year.

She has been a registered patent agent in Malaysia since 2009 and is a member of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI).
