CLP: e-Examination Symposium 2026: "Challenges of digital examinations: AI, cheating, infrastructure"

The "e-Examination Symposium (ePS)", the specialist conference on digital examinations in a university context, will take place next year from May 19 to 20, 2026, at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. The motto is "Challenges of digital examinations: AI, cheating, infrastructure." CFP until F

Since the introduction of digital exams, issues relating to infrastructure, resources for implementation, and the prevention of cheating—known as "Unterschleif" in southern Germany—have become everyday challenges for everyone involved. Among other things, this involves finding suitable exam rooms, equipment, and software, as well as personnel for service and support, and organizational and technical solutions to prevent cheating. In recent years, new issues have arisen due to the widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The e-Examination Symposium (ePS) 2026 aims to promote discussion about new and old challenges and to present current research, projects, and solutions related to digital examinations.

The event is kindly supported by the "Hochschulnetzwerk Digitalisierung der Lehre Baden-Württemberg (HND-BW)" (Baden-Württemberg University Network for the Digitization of Teaching) and e-teaching.org.
