Objectives

If science is to reach many people, it should be understandable. We want to introduce the participants of our MAPEX science communication modules to various formats of science communication. In this short course, the focus is on how the interaction between researchers, communicators and different target groups could be realized and how you could get involved.

Topics include

• Why science communication?
• Outreach activities at MAPEX and the Humans on Mars Initiative
• Overview of established and upcoming formats for different target groups
• How to get involved in activities of the MAPEX communication team
• Share ideas to communicate your science!
