"The University promotes exchanges of student and lecturers in international programmes and partnerships on all continents". In the Faculty of Social Sciences, the International Office coordinates all aspects of internationalisation. The international study programmes, introduced prior to the Bologna-reforms, have developed into highly successful international Bachelor's, Master's and Graduate Programmes, mostly in cooperation with national and international partners. International research in the Faculty is equally excellent.

Our main focus lies on "internationalisation for everyone", no matter the position. Student, lecturer and administrative staff mobility receives a high degree of support, in particular through study trips and joint teaching and research projects.

Within each faculty, an internationalization representative (Internationalisierungsbeauftragte/r) is chosen as the contact person for international affairs.

International Module Social Sciences

The Faculty's International Office offers the "International Module" on a regular basis during the summer semester. This module is aimed at Faculty 08 Bachelor's level students looking to take "General Studies" courses and visiting students from the Faculty's partner universities. The teaching language is English.
