The Federal Constitutional Court's responsibility for integration

Prof. Dr. Andreas Fischer-Lescano, LL.M. (EUI Florenz)

Since its Lisbon judgment in 2009, the Federal Constitutional Court has spelled out the concept of responsibility for integration, which models the obligations of the federal bodies in the context of the European integration process.
We will look at the relevant decisions of the court - in interaction with the decisions of the European Court of Justice - and finally understand the lines of discussion in upcoming decisions, especially with regard to CETA.
