Following a welcoming address of Staatsrat Bernd Tschöpe at the Senator's for Justice and Constitution and a ceremonial address of the Vice Dean of the Faculty Prof. Claudio Franzius the doctoral degree certificates were handed out to the seven doctoral graduates present.

The doctoral prize sponsored by the LOYFORT Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH and Co. KG was awarded to Dr. Christoph Möller for his thesis "Lex Sportiva – Zur Verfassung der transnationalen Dopingregulierung“ supervised by  Prof. Calliess. The prize was presented by RAin Dr. Monika Beckmann-Petey.
