Information about the Chair of Business Psychology and Human Resource Management

In March 2018, the Chair of Business Psychology and Human Resources, headed by Prof. Dr. Vera Hagemann, began its research and teaching activities in the fields of Business Administration and Business Psychology at the University of Bremen.

A central research focus of the professorship is the support of teamwork processes in High Responsibility Teams. This involves, among other things, the analysis of the effects of personal attitudes as well as training to acquire competences for safe teamwork in high-risk areas such as aviation, space travel, medicine, police or fire brigades. The focus is e.g. on the development and evaluation of trainings as well as analyses of the effects of attitudes on teamwork and their possible change through debriefing and feedback. It also deals with changes in workplaces, workplace relationships and employee skills through digitisation in organisations.
