Prof. Dr. Benjamin Schüz ist Professor für Public Health mit den Schwerpunkten Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung. Zuvor war er Associate Professor für Psychologie an der University of Tasmania, Australien.

Im Zentrum seiner Forschung stehen die Wechselwirkungen zwischen individuellen und umweltbezogenen Einflussgrößen auf gesundheitsrelevantes Verhalten. Diese Wechselwirkungen sind wichtig, um soziale Unterschiede in Verhalten zu verstehen, und um effektive und nachhaltige Interventionen für Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung entwickeln zu können.
