About the person

Tate has been a research associate at LEMEX since 2019. Her primary research focus is on resource transfers in virtual business incubators. In the context of various research projects, she additionally conducts research on digitalisation in the German SME sector as well as on refugee entrepreneurship.

In the area of knowledge and technology transfer, Tate has been part of the joint project “Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Bremen-Oldenburg” since 2021, where she actively supports and co-implements the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region. From 2024 to 2025, she was also part of the research project “Entrepreneurial and Digital Innovation in Moldova – Supporting Ukrainian Refugees”, in which she conducted one year of research on the integration of Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.

In teaching, Tate has been involved in various entrepreneurship courses at LEMEX since 2019 at both undergraduate and graduate level.
