LEMEX in Moldau

On March 18, together with ASEM (Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova), we hosted the final conference of our one-year project on “Entrepreneurial and Digital Innovation in Moldova-Supporting Ukrainian Refugees” in Chișinău, Moldova.

At the conference, our team members Jörg Freiling, Tate Reit and Tenzin Yeshi presented the key findings of the project, which identified the needs, challenges and skills of Ukrainian refugee entrepreneurs. We also proposed a strategic plan to improve their integration into the Moldovan entrepreneurial ecosystem through a hybrid business incubator. We are confident that our joint efforts will contribute to the socio-economic inclusion of Ukrainian refugees and foster innovation and growth in the country.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) for funding this project under the initiative “Digital Transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Eastern Partnership Countries” (DT4SME).
