Now, in a crisis meeting, we must decide which growth-related resources need to be intensively leveraged and utilised in combination to ensure the business continues to grow.
How will SIREN decide? Naturally, by having the various capital sources (each represented by a group of students) try to convince the start-up of their merits in the ‘Battle of the Capital Sources’! Will SIREN manage to keep a cool head, ask the right questions and select the two most suitable capital sources?

The group debates in the course demonstrate just how complex decision-making processes are for start-ups in the scaling phase and how many factors need to be taken into account. Our students master these discussions with flying colours time and time again, proving time and again just how remarkably well, agilely and creatively they can apply what they have learnt in (simulated) real-world contexts.
