Research
Shaping health for all
The researchers at our institute conduct research on a wide range of issues in the fields of public health and nursing research:
- Health Promotion and Prevention
- Health Care Services
- Nursing Care
- Environment and Climate in the context of health,
- Scientific Development and Evaluation of Educational Programs
These areas are complemented by cross-cutting priorities in Digitalization and Health, Gender and Intersectionality, as well as Participation and User Orientation. Health and equity in health and care, together with participation, are guiding principles of our research activities. A particular focus of the Institute for Public Health and Nursing Research (IPP) lies in the development of (inter)national, evidence-based and practice-oriented analyses, intervention concepts, and quality assurance and evaluation approaches. These address different levels of health promotion as well as health and nursing care, contributing to the sustainable advancement of practice, organizations, and health systems.
