Presentation at the NBER Summer Institute in Boston

At the 2022 Summer Institute of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), Ruben Enikolopov and Michael Rochlitz presented their paper "The Effect of Independent Online Media in an Autocracy."

The NBER Summer Institute is one of the most prestigious conferences in economics, and is held annually in Boston. 

The paper uses a randomized field experiment to examine the effect of an independent television station on the formation of political opinions in an autocracy, and can be downloaded through the following link:
