Dr. Kirsten Emmert

Kirsten Emmert ist Postdoktorandin in der Abteilung für Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention im Institut für Public Health und Pflegeforschung an der Universität Bremen. Sie hat Abschlüsse in molekularer Medizin, Neurowissenschaften und Psychologie. Nachdem Sie lange in der Parkinsonforschung an der Entwicklung neuer digitaler Biomarker für Schlaf und Fatigue gearbeitet hat, fokussiert sich ihre Forschung nun auf das Zusammenspiel von psychologischen, biologischen und sozialen Aspekten von Prävention.

In ihrem Hauptforschungsprojekt entwickelt sie Kommunikationsstrategien zur Vermittlung von Krebsrisikoscores und erforscht, in wieweit eine an den individuellen Risikoscore angepasst Screeningstrategie sinnvoll und umsetzbar ist.

  • Interventionsansätze zur Krankheitsprävention und Früherkennung
  • Nutzen von polygenen Risikoscores für risikobasiertes Krebsscreening
