Dr. Kirsten Emmert

Kirsten Emmert ist Postdoktorandin im Fachbereich Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention an der Universität Bremen. Sie hat Abschlüsse in molekularer Medizin, Neurowissenschaften und Psychologie. Zuvor arbeitete sie in der Parkinson-Forschung und förderte die Entwicklung neuer digitaler Biomarker für Schlaf und Müdigkeit. Nachdem sie in dieser Forschung den enormen Einfluss psychologischer Faktoren auf die körperliche Gesundheit erkannt hatte, verlagerte sie ihren Schwerpunkt auf das Zusammenspiel von psychologischen, biologischen und sozialen Aspekten der Prävention.
In ihrem Hauptforschungsprojekt entwickelt Frau Dr. Emmert Strategien für die Kommunikation von Krebsrisikowerten und untersucht die Faktoren und Hindernisse für die Anpassung der Vorsorgestrategie an den individuellen Krebsrisikowert.
