I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Cognitive Systems Lab, building a research group in cognitive user modeling for adaptive interaction systems. In my research, I often deal with psychophysiological signals for user state detection, computational cognitive models and adaptive human-computer interfaces. This involves for example workload-adaptive or memory-adaptive dialog systems, self-correcting user interfaces on the basis of error potentials, or attenion-driven interfaces for augmented reality devices.
I am principal investigator of the DFG project DINCO, an university-funded project on "Attention-driven Interaction Systems in Augmented Reality", and the interdisciplinary DFG project "PALMS: Plasticity of the minimal self in healthy aging"
