Dr. Herwansyah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Holding a PhD in Public Health from Maastricht University in the Netherlands and bringing international experience, he contributes extensive knowledge and expertise to the university. His areas of specialization span several fields of public health, including global health, social epidemiology, school-based health promotion, primary healthcare, and reproductive and maternal health, particularly in low- and middle-income country settings. During his stay, Dr. Herwansyah will give a Brown Bag Lunch talk at the IPP and share his expertise with students in the BA Public Health program through a course session on maternal and child health.
