Moodle learning platform

What is Moodle?

Moodle is a learning platform used by many language courses at the SZHB; some use it for supplementary activities, others (online courses) are actually held on Moodle. You can access material for your course, work on exercises and tasks, communicate with the other members of the course, take tests and lots more - all via the Moodle platform.

The SZHB uses Moodle for a number of elements in its language learning portfolio:

  • Language courses: Many of our regular and intensive courses use Moodle. To be accepted onto your course you need a registration code which is sent to you by email.
  • Supplementary options: A great many of the other options offered by the SZHB, for example our tutoring programme and several of our language cafés, also use Moodle to support their main activities. A registration code is generally not required to enter the course room. You will receive further information about your chosen option when you have registered.
  • Links to digital material for your independent study: Moodle contains a wide range of material to help you with your digital independent study. You can simply log-in as a guest without having to first obtain your own Moodle access.
