We will recall the definition of the usual partial order on the set of bounded self-adjoint operators. Then we will define operator intervals and study which of them are order isomorphic. For those that are order isomorphic we will be interested in the description of the general form of isomorphisms. Most of results and ideas can be explained in the finite-dimensional case using elementary linear algebra.
