“A big party for everyone – across all groups and generations”, says University Rector, Wilfried Müller, obviously looking forward to the occasion. The party will kick off on November 25, 2011. The limited tickets (1,500) are available since October 24, 2011. You can get yours in the cafeteria in GW2, the main administration building (Verwaltungsgebäude) (both are open from 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.), the main dining hall, Café Unique, the Sportturm/HoSpo, and from “Onkel Walter‘s”.

Admission starts at 7 p.m. to the rousing sound of the Uni-Big-Band. The evening begins with a short official welcome and a brief round of talks with three prominent University personalities. Following this the party really gets underway. Musical entertainment will be provided by a student hip-hop group and the “soundmobil” band. Around 10 p.m. the University Vice Rectors YaseminKarakasoglu, Heidi Schelhowe and Rolf Drechsler will play DJs for an hour before professional DJ Andy B hits the deck to save the evening.

Refreshments will be available in a cocktail lounge and there will also be a buffet with fingerfood provided by the dining-hall kitchen. The buffet is included in the ticket price: 5 euros for students and 10 euros for everyone else.
