Researchers from the social sciences and humanities at the University of Bremen can apply for funding to organize a scientific conference. Applicants are free in the realization. Funding will be provided for an exchange oriented event with the aim of enabling cooperation and networking among scholars, promoting transfer, and contributing to the visibility of research on the topic of Bremen colonialism. The theme and program of the conference must clearly relate to Bremen's role in the history of colonialism. The acquired knowledge must be published in a conference paper. Events with an international scope are welcome.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Post-doctoral researchers, (senior) researchers, lecturers and professors
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
The organization of a conference (series) on the topic of "Bremen Colonialism" is eligible for support. The decisive factor for eligibility is the contribution to the topic, the feasibility, and the quality of the format.
