Exchange Europe - ERASMUS +

As part of the European ERASMUS program, students of the University of Bremen have the opportunity to study for 3 to 12 months within one academic year at a European partner university of their degree program.

Exchange worldwide

Students also have the opportunity to study as an exchange student at a non-European partner university. The host universities offer different conditions.

What many students do not know is that they have the option to apply for a stay at any university worldwide. However, this usually entails high tuition fees and other costs, which may be at least partially financed by means of Auslandsbafög or scholarships.

There are basically 3 different ways to study abroad:

1. Within Europe: guest student on the EU program ERASMUS

2. Outside Europe: guest student on one of the worldwide exchange programs

3. Worldwide, outside a university cooperation: A guest semester on own initiative by directly applying to the foreign university of choice
