Module Workshop
What We Offer
A Module Workshop provides an opportunity to collaboratively develop and refine your modules and courses together with colleagues, students, and experts. We can facilitate the process, provide input and organize suitable workshop formats. We support you in clarifying your objectives and requirements, developing innovative approaches, and aligning your teaching with students’ needs and your own goals.
We support you to:
- select appropriate teaching and learning methods to make your courses more engaging and purposeful
- develop and refine the module’s learning objectives in alignment with the goals of your subject area and the University’s teaching and learning principles
- use digital media, learning technologies, and AI tools effectively and confidently
- create a supportive learning environment that encourages constructive, engaging, and respectful interaction
- develop and implement competence-oriented assessment formats that support the learning process while remaining practical to administer and assess
- facilitate group and individual learning activities while taking your own resources and workload into account
- respond to a diverse and heterogeneous student body with sensitivity and a broad range of teaching and learning approaches, without becoming overwhelmed by the associated challenges
teach with motivation and commitment, even when teaching competes for time and resources with other academic responsibilities
Every Module Workshop is tailored to your individual projects and needs.
How does it work?
You will work on your project together with a small team of 2 to 8 people of your choice. In addition to teaching staff, you can also involve students and other relevant stakeholders. You decide which perspectives can add value to your project.
We provide a supportive and collaborative working environment, extensive expertise in higher education teaching, as well as consultation and process facilitation based on current approaches and methods from teaching and learning research and agile collaboration.
