New Impulses for Teaching

As a factor of quality and success, good academic teaching has become a crucial element: a development that was substantially advanced by the Quality Pact Teaching.

The University of Bremen picked up on this development and has been able to steadily expand and improve training measures and continuing education in the area of higher education didactics.

The Office for Higher Education Didactics bundles such measures, organizes central workshops for all teaching faculty, and is the point of contact for all questions surrounding higher education didactics.

The office is in regular contact with thematically adjacent areas within the University of Bremen as well as with the higher education didactics institutions of other universities.

Owing to the close cooperation with the Central Administrative Unit for Teaching and Studies, the Office of Higher Education Didactics is able to swiftly introduce and implement targeted new offers. At the same time, important impulses from the whole area of higher education didactics flow into the work of the unit, e.g. in the design of ongoing educational reform projects.
