2. Purpose of data processing

Application for funding under the “Canvas for Change” call for proposals.

Your data will be used for the application process to communicate with applicants regarding the process and, if applicable, the allocation of funds via the email or postal address provided.

3. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

4. Obligation to provide data

You are not required to provide this information; however, we can only process applications and communicate with applicants if you provide us with the necessary contact information. In addition to your name, this includes

To receive invitations, notifications, and documents related to the process: your email and mailing addresses, and your phone number.

To receive grant certificates and printed materials as part of the process: your mailing address.

5. Revocability of Consent

You may revoke your consent to receive information and to the processing of the collected data pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR at any time with future effect. In this case, we will no longer process this data and will delete it, provided that no statutory retention periods preclude such deletion. The lawfulness of the data processing up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by this.

We process your data until the project is completed and, if applicable, until you have completed the approved grant project.

Department 16 UniTransfer (see above for address) receives the data submitted via the online form and processes it as follows:

Department 16 UniTransfer at the University of Bremen adds your contact information to an internal mailing list so that it can send you invitations, approval notices, and printed materials by mail.
