Newcomer service for exchange students

The newcomer service of the International Office takes care of nominated international exchange students from our international partner universities (e.g. ERASMUS, Overseas Cooperation, ERASMUS Mundus).

The newcomer service organizes a three-weeks orientation program with an intensive German language course, information sessions and lots of other events.

Kompass programs for international students

kompass is a team in the International Office of the University of Bremen that realizes international and intercultural projects. Our programs and events bring international students together with their fellow German students.

They provide orientation, broaden horizons, increase awareness of commonalities, and build bridges into the professional future. Friendly, welcoming and open to all!
