Learning German

Learning foreign languages

Foreign students are allowed to work in Germany during their studies. However, there are certain legal regulations that must be observed. Graduates and research assistants are supported and advised by the staff of the Career Center.

If you come to Bremen to study, you need a place to stay. Whether a room in a dorm or your own apartment; that’s up to you. This information will help you.

If you come to the University of Bremen via an exchange program, you can register for the accomodation service of the International Office during the registration.

Financing Studies

The standard of living in Germany is high, as is the cost of participating in it! Applicants who are not from the European Union must prove that they have enough money to finance a year’s stay in Germany. Many students need a scholarship to supplement their own financial resources. Sometimes something unexpected happens and quick financial help is needed.
