Call for funding applications 2024 │ Bold and innovative ideas wanted │ Apply by 5 May 2024

In 2024, the University of Bremen Foundation, the Manfred and Ursula Fluß Foundation, the Iris and Hartmut Jürgens Foundation - Chance for a New Life, the Karin and Heinz-Otto Peitgen Foundation and the Dr Heino Rose Foundation will be supporting innovative and bold ideas that show that Bremen is taking responsibility for what is happening in the world and that solutions to problems are emerging - whether locally for Bremen or globally.

We are looking for transfer-orientated projects in the following areas:

    Educational justice or education for sustainable development (application volume between 5,000 and 7,000 euros)
    Medicine/health (application volume between 3,000 and 7,000 euros)
    Help for refugees (application volume between 2,000 and 5,000 euros)
    Conferences of the University of Bremen with a strong external impact (e.g. via a public event) (application volume between 1,000 and 3,000 euros).

Applications from all faculties are expressly welcome.

Tender and selection modalities:

Academic staff at the University of Bremen are eligible to apply.

The decision on funding will be made at the next meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Bremen Foundation on 30 May 2024.
