Funding for worldwide internships
Who can apply?
Students, graduates, and Phd-students of the University of Bremen and the other Bremen universities can apply. The central application requirement is that the reason of the stay abroad should be to further vocational qualification. Internships are therefore particularly suitable.
Graduates can only apply if they start their stay abroad within 3 months after graduation.
What is funded?
Stays abroad by highly qualified students and graduates of the University of Bremen and the other Bremen universities up to a maximum of 6 months. This excludes exchanges / internships that are mandatory in the study or examination regulations, pure study units or study-bound projects, and thesis or pure research stays without qualifying character.
What does the funding entail?
A one-time grant will be awarded, the amount of which is determined by the project requirements and the planned budget of the candidates.
Where and when can I apply?
You can apply for financial aid from the Bremer Studienfonds twice a year. The application deadlines are January 15 or June 15. The application must be sent to the International Office.
