UniTransfer as a central support organisation
UniTransfer is an interface into and out of the university - for companies, institutions and individuals from business, culture and society. UniTransfer is the central support unit for scientists from the entire university in all their knowledge and technology transfer activities.

The Bremen University Talks as a high-quality dialogue format
The University of Bremen organises the annual Bremen University Talks together with the Wolfgang Ritter Foundation and Unifreunde e.V.. These enable a dialogue on current topics between representatives from science, politics, society and business. The format consists of a public lecture the evening before and a mixture of keynote speeches and intensive discussions with invited guests on the main day. The scientific coordination is in the hands of university lecturers and the organisation is carried out by UniTransfer.
In previous years, the University Talks have dealt with the following topics: The ageing society, liberal democracies under stress and the role of teacher training. In 2020, the University Talks will take place on 8 and 9 October and will be dedicated to the topic of "Data Science".

Uni Bremen Campus GmbH as an entrepreneurial platform for transfer
Uni Bremen Campus GmbH (UBC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Bremen. University scientists can establish a UBC centre under the umbrella of the company and thus act as entrepreneurs without having to set up a company themselves. The more than 50 UBC centres now offer science-based services on the market.
