Transfer strategy

The University of Bremen understands transfer as a broad-based, always research-based exchange process that encompasses cooperation and dialogue between its academics in research and teaching with stakeholders from society, culture, education, politics and business.

Following an intensive participation and discussion process, the Academic Senate adopted the University of Bremen's transfer strategy in July 2019. This strategy once again emphasises the great importance of knowledge and technology transfer at the University of Bremen. At the same time, the general university strategy 2018-2028 for the field of transfer is being concretised.

University employees are involved in many areas: they cooperate with partners from society and business, give lectures, organise interactive events and projects for and with citizens or provide information about research and teaching projects in blogs and social networks.
