Within this project the phase-B development of an Autogenous Pressurization Unit (APU) for the DLR Compact-Sat payload “Future-oriented Research platform for Orbital cryogenic Storage Technologies” (FROST) shall be assisted in strong cooperation with the FROST team. An APU is used to pressurize cryogenic tank systems with evaporated fluid. Within the project planned activities are:
1) Numerical 1D-analysis of the pressurization cycle
2) Develop and build a Bread-Board Test
3) Perform first functional tests
4) Compare test results to simulations
5) Documentation of those activities
