kompass is a team in the International Office at the University of Bremen that carries out international and intercultural projects. Our programs and events bring foreign and German students together. We provide orientation, broaden horizons, highlight points in common, and build bridges for your professional future. Friendly, welcoming, and open for all!

International Communities

The Communities and project groups supported by kompass are vivid examples of the cultural diversity that shapes campus life at the University of Bremen. They help make our international students feel welcome - almost like home away from home. At the same time, they foster communication among students of other nations and thus make an important contribution towards international understanding and integration.

The Communities and project groups currently supported by kompass: Bangladesh Network, Cameroonian Community in Bremen e.V.(CCB), Chinesische Akademiker Bremen, Egyptia Community Bremen, Ghanaian Community, Guenian Students association in Bremen, INIB - Initiative bridges, ISAB (Indian Students Association Bremen), Ivorian Community, Community Mexico, Nigerian Community, Pakistan Students Association at University of Bremen (PSA), Turkish students Bremen (TSB)

causes of intercultural misunderstandings that can arise among students
or professors in a different university system.
