Dr. Andreas Hilboll passed away yesterday (March 25, 2020) in a hospital in Crete as the result of COVID-19. Andreas Hilboll was a postdoctoral researcher in the Laboratory for Modeling and Observation of the Earth System working group led by Professor Mihalis Vrekoussis. “Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and friends and also to his colleagues at the Institute of Environmental Physics in Faculty 1,” stated the university president, Professor Bernd Scholz-Reiter. “The death of Mr. Hilboll is a great loss for us all. The University of Bremen will not forget him.”
