“Praxisbörse – die Messe” Opens its Doors on 3rd May

More than 100 employers ? private enterprises and others ? will participate at the University of Bremen‘s “Praxisbörse” [employment fair] which opens on 3rd May. The Praxisbörse has grown to become the most important employment platform for university graduates in the North West of Germany. It presents an opportunity for students, graduates and potential employers to get to know each other. Within the context of the many scheduled talks and panel discussions as well as in personal interviews, the Praxisbörse offers a whole range of opportunities for young people to find out more about future career prospects.

Internships play an important role in complementing university education. They give students a chance to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and explore future careers. In order to promote this type of exchange, the University of Bremen is once again holding its own employment fair: “Praxisbörse – die Messe” will take place on 3rd May between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in building GW2. Exhibitors will include local medium-sized enterprises as well as international corporations and employers in the sectors of culture and social services.

Visitors can also choose from a wide range of complementary offers. Professional trainers will be on hand to offer free advice on application portfolios and advertize seminars on all aspects of making successful job applications, including offers of individual coaching. In addition to this, companies will be holding 20-minute presentations for larger groups. This year’s patron is Otto Lamotte, President of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce.
