Katharina Reiling's research interest lies in administrative law, especially in terms of cross-national relations. Another key area of her work is maritime law. After her PhD and habilitation at the University of Konstanz, the legal scholar received her first professorship at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn in 2022, before transferring to the University of Bremen in August 2023.
