Personal Details
In 2010 Steffen Guder graduated from High School (Gymnasium Syke) before doing his community service at the DRK Altenheim in Syke. Afterwards he started studying history and philosophy at the University of Münster (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität), before changing to Business Studies at the University of Bremen in 2012. During his Bachelor studies Mr. Guder spent one semester abroad at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in September 2015 he continued his Business studies at the University of Bremen and graduated in spring 2018 with the academic degree of Master of Science in Business Administration. While doing his consecutive studies Mr. Guder spent another semester abroad at the Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall, Sweden. From 2013 to 2018 Steffen Guder worked as a student research assistant at the Chair of Accounting and Control at the University of Bremen.
During his time at the university Mr. Guder already gained teaching experiences while working as a tutor for the course “Accounting & Accounts” and lecturer in “Practical exercises to Accounting & Accounts” as well as in “Advanced Seminar Accounting” and practical experience in the course of doing a 4-month internship at the KPMG AG in Hamburg.
Since May 2018 Steffen Guder works as a research assistant at the Chair of Accounting and Control at the University of Bremen and does his doctoral studies with focus on International and National Accounting and Accounting Regulation.
