Specialist for media and information services
Specialists for media and information services (libraries) are involved with the development and maintenance of library collections. The user services work involves advising customers and providing them with media or information.
Procuring and purchasing media, data, and information
Recording and indexing print and electronic books, newspapers, and other media in catalogs and databases
Providing advice, information, and guidance to customers
Undertaking research in databases, and information and communications systems
Implementing and monitoring the lending of materials
Processing technical media
The vocational training takes three years.
