An application to be exempted from supplying a language certificate can be submitted to the Foreign Language Center Bremen. However, such exemptions are rarely possible. Examples of an exemption from the language test are: A degree in German awarded in your home country, several years of employment in Germany, German as a first language.
If the score of the TestDaF exam is below 16, exemption is not possible.
