High School Diploma – What now?

This is the question facing thousands of young people leaving high school every year. The Student Advisory Service at the University of Bremen is organizing a special workshop on this topic, in which the central focus will be on YOU. Work individually and in groups, during the one-day event participants create their own personal profiles encompassing their interests, special skills, and objectives. The idea is to help school-leavers find the right approach to their future choice of studies and career: “What do I like doing most? What is my idea of fun? What am I best at? What competences come into play at school and during my leisure time activities? What do I want to achieve? Where am I going? What is most important for me?”

The workshop is always on Saturdays between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. It costs 10 euros and the next date is 21st April 2012. Other workshops will be held on 2nd and 16th June and 7th July 2012 (registration starts on 1st April). Further workshops are also planned to take place during the summer break. The number of participants is restricted to twelve persons for each workshop.
