Following its successful performance in the first phase of the Excellence Initiative, Bremen University has now submitted four new draft proposals for the second phase. The University is applying for recognition of an excellence cluster encompassing the engineering and computersciences in the thematic field of materials science, a cluster of excellence together with the University of Oldenburg in the area of social sciences, a graduate school of materials science, and support for its future concept for the whole University.
