The Press Office Has a New Leader: Kristina Logemann Moves to the University of Bremen

On March 1, 2017, Kristina Logemann took over from the former press and communications officer, Eberhard Scholz, who goes into retirement. One of her duties as new leader of the Press Office is to act as spokesperson for the President of the University of Bremen.

After leaving school, Kristina Logemann, who was born in Bremen, studied political science in the international study program “Political Management” at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences. She then went on to postgraduate studies at Europa-Kolleg Hamburg, where she was awarded her “Master of European Studies”.

Up to mid-December 2016, Kristina Logemann was responsible for press and public relations at the Jacobs University in Bremen. Prior to this, she also gained experience in science communication while working in the area of press and public relations for the Excellence Cluster “Religion & Politics” at the University of Münster (2009/2010).

From 2011 to 2012 she held a position in the Press Office of the Bremen Regional Assembly (Bremische Bürgerschaft) and from 2012 to 2014 she was coordinator for press and public relations at the Central Office for the Realization of Equal Opportunities for Women in Bremen. She gathered further professional experience working as a freelancer for a national music magazine.
