Jan Elsner started his Ph.D at LEMEX in 2018 and is the founder of an E-Health startup in the field of dermatology located in Berlin and Bremen. In early years he gained first entrepreneurial experience in the music industry, before working in the field of corporate entrepreneurship for Airbus and Focke & Co beside his business studies. Accordingly, he wrote his master thesis on drivers of corporate learning processes in business accelerators. The thesis was later awarded with the wiwib award for SME-research and published at Springer/Gabler (Best Masters). His core activities at LEMEX are centered around the Inno-Quarter project, which develops a new startup support mechanism. In particular, it establishes testlabs, helping entrepreneurs in validating sustainable business ideas on different event platforms. Correspondingly, his current research scope is on entrepreneurial learning and event-based business validation.
